The ABRS Qualification Structure:
The ABRS Examinations System was created by employers to produce the type of employee the industry requires - both in Teaching and Stable Management. The ABRS Examiners are carefully selected, they have knowledge, examining and assessing ability, train to all levels of Riding and Stable Management and - above all - are employers in the industry. The number of Examiners is kept small in order that the same standard is maintained. All ABRS Examinations are of a very practical nature - no written papers are required, but there is a need for underpinning knowledge and an understanding of the reasons for the various tasks associated with stable routine. There is only an Examination Fee to pay - no Membership Fee is required. Jobs available in the horse industry both at home and abroad are many and varied, rewarding and interesting. The ABRS qualifications are graded from foundation certificates to diploma standard and are listed below in that order.
