Woodredon Equestrian Centre is a family run, purpose built riding school and livery yard sited in 45 acres. We are approved by the ABRS and BHS. Our experienced team of qualified instructors have many years experience in teaching people to ride through all stages and levels, from absolute beginner to accomplished competitor. Woodredon EC is surrounded by the historic Epping Forest with the provision of approximately 50 miles of tracks which form a network for all year round hacking. We offer lessons for all abilities from age 4 years onwards, for adults as well as children. We offer training in jumping for novice through to affiliated competitors as well as dressage training and advanced flatwork lessons. Our lessons vary from private tuition to group lessons and organised hacks through the forest for both children (including lead rein) and adults.
We have a large selection of friendly horses and ponies to suit all riders, all of which are well schooled. We cater for extremely nervous riders, those who have never ridden and those who are returning to riding. For our more advanced riders we have school masters available for dressage and show jumping training.
We offer a vast school holiday programme of events for children, including our very popular Easter Egg hunt and Teddy Bears Picnic plus a range of themed evening riders for adults that run throughout the summer months which include Champagne and Strawberries, Pimms and Pineapple and Coffee and Cakes. Team gymkhanas, dressage and showjumping competitions as well as Bar-B-Q's are all on offer to our clients.
We have an impressive indoor school complete with mirrors and a floodlit international sized all weather outdoor arena. We also have 2 showjumping grass arenas with a variety of show jumps and an outdoor dressage arena. As well as the onsite facilities we have the beautiful Epping Forest to ride in, entering straight from our gates.
Woodredon EC also provides conference, catering and office facilities and are able to offer exclusive discounted rates at top class accommodation in nearby hotels and guest houses. We have easy access to the nearby Cross Country Course which has a large variety of jumps, ditches, water complex and gallop tracks.
