www.equineclub.co.uk has been created to unite the equine world and encourage and

progress horse ownership and the number of horse riders in the UK and beyond.

Through this site Riding Schools and those that support equestrianism in the UK will

benefit so do use the site but please do so courteously and within these terms.

1 Introduction

1.1 Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the website operated by Equine Club

Limited. These terms and conditions apply to services available from the domain

When you have completed registration on the website you will be given a unique user ID and password

which is personal to you and which enables us to ensure that services provided to you are appropriate

4 Your Right to Cancel your membership

In the unlikely event that you may wish to cancel your membership you may do so at anytime but refunds

of membership fees to the Equine Club will not be given as services could be used immediately for which

the value is far greater than the cost of an annual membership.

5 Refunds

Via the Equine Club there are many special features, services and competitions available as part of your

membership and some may require on line payment.

Where this is the case you will be reminded of our refund policy at the time of purchasing on line.

The following is a summary of our core refunds policy:

- Membership Fees Non Refundable unless your membership is cancelled by Equine Club Limited

- Competitions Non Refundable

- Goods This may vary depending on the types of goods being purchased and will be

within your statutory rights. Details will be made at the time of purchasing

This refunds policy applies only to products and services offered directly via Equine Club Ltd and where

payment is made direct to Equine Club Limited. When selecting products offered through any preferred

partners or other third parties who may be allowed to promote products and services via

www.equineclub.co.uk it is your responsibility to read through the individual terms and conditions

carefully before proceeding.

5 Limitation of Liability

Equine Club Limited shall have no liability arising from the use by any party of or reliance on the

information on this website and so far as permitted by law excludes all liability for damages howsoever

caused including without limitation any damage which is or represents loss of goodwill revenue or profit

or failure to achieve any benefit expected from use of this website, loss of use of any asset, loss of data

recorded on any computer or other machine, liability of any user of this website to any third party, any

reviewed by Equine Club Limited prior to posting and does not necessarily reflect the views, opinions or

policies of Equine Club Limited. Equine Club Limited makes no warranties express or implied as to the content

or to the accuracy and reliability of the content or any information that you transmit to other members.

11. Items for sale by third parties

As a user of Equine Club Ltd, individual or commercial your membership entitles you to publish items for

sale which buyers can see and communicate with you to purchase. As a seller you are solely responsible

for the accuracy of any description and photographic content of any such items and you create your own

contract with any buyer. As a buyer you must make your own decision regarding goods being advertised

for sale and you form your own contract with the sellers. Equine Cub Limited have no control and do not

guarantee and you will not hold us responsible for:

• the quality, safety or legality of items advertised

• the truth or accuracy of listings

• the truth or accuracy of feedback or other content posted by users on the Site.

• the ability of sellers to sell items

• the ability of buyers to pay for items

• whether a buyer or seller will actually complete a transaction

12. Content/Activity Prohibited

Club Limited. Equine Club Limited reserves the right o investigate and take appropriate legal action

against anyone who is in Equine Club Limited’s sole discretion violates this provision including without

limitation removing the offending communication from Equine Club services and terminating the

membership of such violators.

12.1. patently offensive text or pictures that promote racism, bigotry, hatred or physical harm of any

kind against any group or individual.

12.2. harassment or advocates harassment of another person or exploits them in a sexual or violent manner

12.3. nudity, violence or offensive subject matter or contains link to an adult website or a website which

in the opinion of Equine Club Limited breaches the intention of this Section 11

12.4. solicits personal information from anyone under the age of 18

12.5. promotes any information that is false or misleading or promotes illegal activities or conduct that

is abusive, threatening, obscene, defamatory or libellous

12.6. involves the transmission of junk mail, chain letters or unsolicited mass mailing, instant

messaging “spimming” or “spamming”

12.7 involves commercial activities and or sales without our prior written consent such as contest

sweepstakes, barter advertising or pyramid schemes

12.8. includes a photograph of another person that you have posted without that person’s consent or

that has Copywrite belonging to if for which you do not have approval for publication.

12.9. advertising for sale any products known to be stolen or illegal items or those prohibited for sale in

the uk.

13. Legal Contracts

The Legal Contract available from this site have been approved and validated by a professional firm of

Solicitors but Equine Club Limited accepts no responsibility for their accuracy or standing within a court

of law. The contracts have been drafted base d on English Law. Members in Scotland must seek their own

legal advice. If in any doubt you must seek your own legal advice

your use of this website is governed by the laws of England. You hereby consent to the exclusive

jurisdiction of the English courts in all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of this website.

15. Adding Guest Members – Family Members and Child Members

Becoming a business member enables you to add guest members as “friends” “staff” or “customers”

and you should ensure that you adhere to any data protection rules and regulations.

Parents may add on their Children as guest members who will then be given a restricted Child members

Access and functions and as such must take responsibility for their use of such.

16. Content licence –

The Equine Club Ltd needs the following rights to host and display your content.

When you give us content, you grant us non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty free,

sublicensable (through multiple tiers) right to exercise the copy right, trade marks, database rights and

all other intellectual property rights you have in content, in any media known now or in the future. In

addition you waive all moral rights you have in content to the fullest extent permitted by law,

17. Association of British Riding Schools (ABRS)

Some ABRS members may include some Equine Club Members in their own insurance arrangements for

their customers. This is their insurance arrangements with the ABRS and The Equine Club is not involved

in any direct way with the provision of such insurance. All enquiries should be made with your local ABRS

Riding School.

18. Riding Standards and Abilities

Members are able to publish their own Riding Standards and Abilities according to their own evaluation

and opinion. Such abilities can be confirmed by a Riding School or Instructor but the Equine Club Limited

hold no responsibility or guarantee of the accuracy of such data, ability or standard and therefore the

suitability of a person to ride at any particular level or at any particular event.

19. Shows and Events

The Equine Club enables members to publish their own shows and events and the Equine Club Ltd hold

no responsibility for the accuracy of such information or for the cancellation of such shows or events.
